Shady Grove Eye and Vision Center
I was invited to the annual customer appreciation day at the Shady Grove Eye and Vision Center in Rockville and had such a great time. Dr. Glazer really knows how to take care of his patients and not only provided wraps and mimosa, but gave everyone in attendance the chance to win an iPad2. The world famous Redskinettes also made an appearance.

Halloween 2011
This year marks the second year we ventured out to go trick or treating. What a difference a year makes. Last year we made it to 2 houses and called it a night; we figured there was a little stage fright. This year, we ran out of houses to visit before the girls had their fill and they wanted to go to the neighboring subdivision. We also went to the air and space museum’s “Air and Scare” event; what a madhouse!
Assateague Island
Got a chance to spend a few days out at Assateague Island last week. It’s been a few years since we’ve been there and forgot how nice the beach was. Since it was after Labor Day, there wasn’t much of a crowd and we pretty much had the beach all to ourselves. The horses seemed bolder compared to our last visit and weren’t shy about trouncing directly through the campgrounds.

Baby’s first birthday
Can’t believe Kiri turned 1 year already. Every month just seems to fly by faster than the last. Here are a few pictures of the baby of the posse enjoying her time in front of the camera. She get’s her moxie from her bigger sister, of course.

Happy Holidays!
We went to Albuquerque earlier this month to celebrate my nephew’s 1st birthday. Here are some of the pictures from that trip. Highlights included a visit to the River of Lights display at the Albuquerque Botanical Gardens and a hike at Tent Rocks National Monument. I also included a picture we used for this year’s card showing the girls next to the Christmas tree after we were finished with the decorations.

First Halloween outing
This year, we took our three year old trick or treating for the first time. After going to 2 houses, she decided that was enough and called it a night. That’s okay; we’ll have many more outings in the future. Here are some photos of the day including a picture of our littlest one as baby Simba. As you can guess, the theme this year was the Lion King.
